New Corporate Website Guidelines for Ireland

Posted by Joe

From 1 April 2007 new company disclosure requirements will come into effect for all company websites and electronic communication (email). The full details are available from the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement or simply see below what the practical steps involved are.

The main items of information which must be included for all limited liability companies operating websites are:

  1. The name of the company and the company’s legal form.
  2. The place of registration of the company.
  3. The number with which it is registered.
  4. The address of the registered office.

These details must be included prominently at least once on the company website but need not necessarily appear on the homepage.

These details must also be contained on all email or other electronic communication (such as fax).
