A common question is ‘how long should my posts be?’
There’s no right answer here, but my tip is to write mostly short posts and the occasional long one.

Everybody’s busy these days, brevity is appreciated. Your readers will appreciate your getting your point across in an economical manner!

Try to write a short blog post every day, and a longer one from time to time. use your longer posts to firmly establish yourself as an expert on your subject matter.

One approach would be to write frequent short posts, moniter your blog statistics, and expand your views on popular or contentious posts.

In terms of word counts, 200-800 words is a good figure to bear in mind. However sometimes one or two pithy sentences will suffice.

Remember it’s always better to blog than not blog, so if you only have five words to say today - say them.
