It’s hard to read large blocks of content on the web, and long paragraphs may scare readers away.

Writing for the web is very different to writing for print – natural paragraphs may result in offputtingly long areas of text for the web.

Often one long sentence will do for a paragraph for your blog, and certainly two or three sentences is fine – it does depend somewhat on your site design, but err on the side of caution!
